Replaceable Element Design
Customer Replaceable Element: probe is supplied with one additional element.
Factory Replaceable Element: NEWPORT® can install replaceable elements and check the probe for $50, with the first replacement free! For non-replaceable element probes, replacement probes are available with a one time trade-in discount. Please contact our Customer Service Department for details. To order Replaceable Elements, add suffix “-RE” to model no., $25 each. Example: 882026K-RE for 88026K probe.
| Wires
and Terminations 88000 probes are normally supplied with retractable sensor cable, with 1 ft. expanding to 5 ft. These cables are rated to 105°C (220°F). 6 ft. FEP Teflon® coated lead wires rated to 260°C (500°F) are also available. To order, add suffix "-TT" to the model no. No additional cost. FEP lead wires may also be trimmed to 3.85 ohms, for use with many analog pyrometers. To order, add suffix "-TT-385" to model number and add $10 to the probe price. |

Replaceable Element not supplied, P/N 88108(*)-RE, $25. Model 88010(*) $175 Long, 12” reach version of the 88006. Fast response design with 760°C (1400°F) max. surface temperature for use in oven and furnaces. Replaceable Element not supplied, P/N 88010(*)-RE, $25. |
